Q: What were the primary motivations for the project? The main drive for the upgrade to V2018 was to overcome obsolescence, establish engineering standards and migrate the system to be fully compliant to the ASM (Abnormal Situational Management) Standard. V6.1 and operating systems was in a mature lifecycle phase which indicate its functionality is stable and obsolete.
